In-Country Execution

28 Years on the Ground in Colombia, The Operation Is Already Built

Pantera Continental's in-country execution runs through RIPEL S.A.S., a company that has imported more than 200 firetrucks from Europe and the United States and delivered them across all 32 Colombian departments, government and municipalities — to institutions including the Ministry of Defense, the Colombian Army, the Colombian Air Force, the National Firefighters Directorate, the Civil Aviation Authority and Ecopetrol, and to private operators in hydrocarbons, oil and gas, mining and major industry, including Cerrejón.

What Happens After the Contract Is Signed

The equipment still has to clear customs, be nationalized, reach an end user who may be four hundred kilometers from the nearest workshop, be commissioned, be crewed by trained operators, and stay operational long term on original parts.

Colombia's problem is not that it cannot buy. It is that a significant share of what it has already bought is not currently operational.

RIPEL executes all of it.

Why a Firefighting Record Matters to a Defense and Security Manufacturer

A specialized firefighting vehicle is a heavy, imported, technically complex, safety-critical capital asset. It is sold to public institutions and private operators alike under Colombian regulatory and procurement requirements, shipped, nationalized, commissioned, handed to operators who must be trained on it, and supported with original parts and certified technicians for the rest of its service life.

RIPEL has run that cycle, end to end, for 28 years.
